Health fair set for Saturday

Siloam Springs Regional Hospital will host its sixth annual health fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, on the hospital grounds -- 603 N. Progress Ave. Formerly known as the ER Kids Fair and Health Expo, the Healthy Community Fair includes all of the fun and attractions of the ER Kids Fair but also will include information for all ages.

Families will have an opportunity to take a Healthy Journey using a Healthy Passport this year. As guests visit key locations at the health fair -- including the Teddy Bear Clinic, the Health Expo vendor tent, Emergency Services vehicles, the Mega Brain and more -- they will get a stamp on their passport. Once there are enough stamps on the passport, the Healthy Journey ends with an exciting obstacle course and a medal for children while supplies last.

The Healthy Community Fair also includes health and wellness information activities with vendors from all over the state and Oklahoma, a designated Kids Zone, area safety experts and more.

A registration table will be located near the expo tent for participants to check-in and receive their Healthy Journey Passports when they arrive. For more information, call 479-215-3124.
