Book signing features award-winning author

GRAVETTE -- Award-winning author Radine Trees Nehring will have a book-signing event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the Gravette Public Library.

Nehring has written articles, essays and stories about the Arkansas Ozarks. Her "To Die For" series was set in well-known tourist locations, including War Eagle Mill, Eureka Springs and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. "A Valley to Die For," the first in the series, will be re-released this summer.

"I enjoy writing about what I love and sharing these places with readers everywhere. Both they and I experience my chosen destinations as the story unfolds," said Nehring.

She has received many regional and national awards, including a National Silver Falchion for mystery writing and the Governor's Award for the best writing about Arkansas. Nehring was the 2011 inductee into the Arkansas Writers' Hall of Fame.

Books will be available for purchase at the book-signing event. The Gravette Public Library is located at 119 Main Street S.E.
