Gentry defeated Prairie Grove 1-0 in a 4A West girls' soccer match on Friday at Prairie Grove's Tiger Den Stadium with its newly installed artificial turf playing surface. The Lady Pioneers scored in the first half and held onto the lead for the duration of the contest. The win improved Gentry to 4-2-1 and 1-1-1 in conference play.
